Wed Nov 7th  |  6pm  |  Deluxe Technicolor Digital Cinema  |  Burbank, CA

WHAT:

The Alliance for Women Film Composers and Women In Animation present a joint panel and networking event entitled:

Animation Collaboration: The Close Connection between Custom Music and Illustrated Picture.

This panel, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and network, will explore the experience of collaboration between composers, directors, and producers of animated content. Discussion will center around the reasons for, and benefits of, creating original score to picture, as well as the practical considerations involved in this process. By providing exposure to high-profile women in both music and animation, and exploring their work together, we hope to emphasize the ways in which these collaborations are both artistically fulfilling and highly valuable to the overall success of any animated project.

Panelists will include: Lolita Ritmanis, Amy McKenna, Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum, Jeff Herman, Layla Minoui and Chris Nee.  The panel will be moderated by Carolyn Giardina from The Hollywood Reporter.
