Artists: Getting Your First Gig
Starting a new career as an artist in animation involves new steps that we might be scared of, and not know what to expect. In this circle we will focus in some of the most common experiences you will face once you start to look for a job in the animation industry. We will focus on how to make your demo reel relevant for the job you are applying for; what to include on your resume; and how to get prepared for your first interviews in the industry.

Fernanda Dini Tavares
Fernanda is a lighting and compositing artist from Brazil who currently works as a Lead Lighting Artist at L’Atelier Animation in Montreal.
She started her career in the animation industry in 2014 and has since worked on multiple feature animation movies and television series. She worked on titles produced by Netflix, Sony Picture Animation, Dreamworks Animation, Paramount Animation, Warner Brothers and others.
Other than the love for creating beautiful images, she loves photography and ceramics.
