Feb 28-29: NYICFF Industry Forum

Mark your calendar for February 28-29, 2020 for the NYICFF Industry Forum: Towards an Inclusive Future

NYICFF’s industry forum offers an unparalleled opportunity to bring a community of industry leaders and content makers together in New York to share new projects and discuss key issues around representation in all-ages media, on and behind the screen.

The two-day program will include:
– Introductory remarks from Anne del Castillo, Commissioner of the MAYOR’S OFFICE OF MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT

The NYICFF Industry Forum will host local, national, and international creative and cultural practitioners and content creators. Together we’ll generate thought-provoking discussion, actionable ideas, and collaborative opportunities over a two-day program of demonstrations, panels, networking receptions, and conversations.

The forum welcomes participation from those at all career stages—from upcoming talent to established makers: executives, filmmakers, directors, producers, distributors, writers, animators, and film and media students.

Jan 27 – Speed Networking Event

These are events in which three people actively working in animation sit with three WIA student members to review their portfolios and chat for an exchange of ideas, advice, and connections! They’re one-on-one conversations that last 20 minutes each for a total of one hour per event. These will take place at the Titmouse NY office on the last Monday of every month from 7:30pm-8:30pm beginning in January 2020. Please note that these sign ups are rolling, and if you’ve signed up once you’re eligible for scheduling every month. When you’ve been scheduled for one of these events you’ll receive an email to confirm your availability and provide you with additional details.
