The WIA Mentorship Program supports our organization’s ultimate goal of 50/50 by 2025.  We’re very proud of the success achieved with this program in the years that it’s been active.  Both Mentees and Mentors have experienced great benefit to their careers in animation, and the program continues to grow each year.   Women In Animation is very excited for the continued success of the Mentorship Program, and the amazing industry professionals it benefits each year.

The Mentor Circles Program offers a unique group learning experience across multiple studios. Up to 8 mentees will be grouped by experience level and matched with a current animation leader to meet virtually throughout the course of the program.

In the 1 on 1 Mentorship Program, WIA Mentors share knowledge, skills, information and perspective to foster the personal and professional growth of Women in Animation members.  The personalized nature of mentoring allows a mentee to steer the content of the discussion to issues and goals that are most relevant to them.



  • Deepen understanding of the animation industry
  • Cultivate an extended network with industry professional and peers
  • Receive constructive feedback to help polish portfolios and reels
  • Learn about jobs, opportunities and the overall animation pipeline
  • Share experiences, best practices and knowledge
