Circle Leader
Kori Amacker
I am a cloth and hair character effects artist currently working at Disney Animation Studios. I went to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I studied character animation. I returned for my masters with a focus in Rigging.
My first industry job was with Sony Picture Imageworks Animation, in Vancouver, Canada. I worked at several studios in the 5 years I was in Canada, including ILM and ScanlineVFX. In 2020 I moved back to the States to join Disney on Raya and the Last Dragon.
Outside of work, I am an avid writer and storyteller. I enjoy the outdoors, have two dogs, and usually spend my weekends crafting something.
