CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
This circle is for creative minds who dream of bringing their show ideas to life. In this circle, you’ll learn to transform your unique concepts into compelling pitches.
Over the course of the circle, we’ll discuss:
- Concept Development: Who are your characters, what are the themes, and how do you explain your style/tone? We’ll focus on defining your target audience, genre, and the unique selling points of your show.
- Structuring a Pitch deck: understand the key elements of a successful pitch deck, including story, character breakdown, themes, and long-term vision for the show
- Visual Presentation: get insights into creating impactful visual aids that complement your pitch, whether it’s storyboards, concept art, or mood boards
- Effective Communication: develop skills to confidently and clearly present your ideas. We’ll cover techniques for storytelling, engaging your audience, and handling questions and feedback
Please come to this circle with an idea ready to discuss. We will not be generating ideas but rather helping you hone and refine a project in progress. In this collaborative circle, we’ll toss ideas around and work together to make a pitch you’ll be excited about and proud of.
Do note that while we will discuss your pitches and ideas over the course of this circle, I will not be representing your pitch in front of any studio, representative, or production company. There are many factors that determine whether or not any pitch will ultimately be purchased or produced. While you will gain valuable knowledge, insight, and skills in this group, participation in this circle does not guarantee any particular outcome for your pitch.
