Many aspiring artists dream of landing a job in the VFX industry as a Digital Matte Painter or Compositor. However, navigating the path to that dream job can often be confusing and overwhelming. In this mentorship circle, we’ll explore the strategies and insights needed to break into the VFX industry. Together, we’ll discuss how to build a compelling portfolio, connect with industry professionals, and develop the skills necessary to land that dream job.

Circle Leader
Angeliki Gkaleridi
Angeliki is a Digital Matte Painter based in Greece. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 2020 after completing a five-year degree program.
Driven by a passion for visual effects, she furthered her education with a VFX Compositing course in Athens. Starting her career as a compositor, Angeliki expanded her skill set by completing the MattePaint course, which led her to specialize as a Digital Matte Painter.
Angeliki has a diverse portfolio, having worked on over 20 television shows
and movies. Her credits include blockbuster projects such as Star Wars, Godzilla Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Westworld. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with studios like Distillery VFX, Windmill Lane VFX, and Digic Pictures.
Angeliki aims to share her knowledge and experience through this mentorship program, guiding aspiring artists in navigating the VFX industry. She looks
forward to helping mentees develop their portfolios, build professional networks, and embark on successful careers in visual effects.
