CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
This circle will help WIA members develop the skills they need to present themselves confidently and effectively, empowering them to move forward in their careers.
As a VFX veteran and qualified Coach, I’m uniquely placed to run a Circle. Drawing on my coaching skills and 25 years of industry experience, I will ensure sessions are insightful, empowering, practical, and directly applicable.

Hi, I’m Debra, founder of Open Frame Coaching.
I’m an accredited Business and Personal Coach (PCC, PG-Cert) with hundreds (and hundreds!) of hours of coaching experience, and I’m delighted to say 100% of my clients would recommend me! My passion is for supporting creative professionals as I have been where you are! I bring 25 years visual effects industry experience to my coaching. Starting as a Runner at Cinesite, I learned on the job and moved into compositing (with 25+ films/TV shows under my belt) before progressing to Global Head of Compositing at DNEG, closely overseeing the delivery of 100+ projects by hundreds of artists.
Along the way, I have been involved with winning 3 Oscars and 3 BAFTAs, worked overseas, been a craft judge for both British Arrows and the Royal Television Society. I’m also a proud parent and a vocal advocate for women in VFX/Animation, including being on the Board of Animated Women UK (AWUK).
