CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
If you’re currently a Runner or PA who is starting to think about how to move into your next role, then this is the circle for you! When you’re new to the industry, growing within a company or transitioning to a new position at a new studio can seem like a daunting task. In this circle, we’ll discuss how to effectively optimize your time as a Runner/PA and how to leverage that experience in your next role. We’ll also review networking strategies, examine different possible career paths, and discuss how to navigate the transition from one role to the next.

Courtney Henley is a visual effects Production Manger for film and television. She began her career just over 10 years ago as a Runner/PA and has since worked on projects including Barbie, Wandavision, and The Diplomat.
When not working, she’s probably watching yet another movie or TV show, reading, writing, or taking pictures of her dog.
