Circle Leader

Kelsey Allen

Hello! My name is Kelsey Allen, and I am currently a Production Coordinator at Disney Television Animation. I studied Film/Television/Theater with a concentration in Animation at the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2020. Graduating into the pandemic brought a lot of challenges, but working on short films during that time sparked my love for production management. I participated in a Breaking In WIA mentorship circle in the fall of 2020), found work on independent projects and commercial animation as a freelance PA, and eventually was hired as a Production Associate on Mickey Mouse Funhouse in 2021. Since then, I’ve been promoted to Production Coordinator and participated in another WIA circle, this time with a focus on career progression and producing. WIA’s mentorship program has been a huge part of my journey and I’m looking forward to giving back by sharing what I’ve learned in my first few years in production!
