Hsiang Chin Moe brings a wealth of experience as an artist, educator, and industry professional. As the inaugural BFA Animation Chair at the renowned School of Visual Arts in New York City, she has shaped the education and careers of countless animators and animation artists. With a background in production, technology, and management, she understands the intricacies of the animation industry and how to navigate its challenges. Hsiang acted as associate director of the New York Digital Salon, where she fostered international dialogue and partnerships to celebrate digital animation, video, games, and interactive installations.
Currently, she serves as the Chair for Education on the board of WIA (Women in Animation) for more than 12,000 members worldwide in addition to her role as the Advisor for the WIA NYC Chapter. She works closely with leading artists, filmmakers, and recruiters to create an equal and supportive platform for underrepresented gender identities and their allies across the animation industry.
