Marlayne “Laney” Ingram heads the Legal Department for Rooster Teeth Productions, LLC, serving as its Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. In addition to managing all day-to-day legal matters for Rooster Teeth, Laney established Rooster Teeth’s diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. A dancer with a love of words, Laney sparked her passion for serving companies and non-profits in the arts early in her career through work at the Small Business Clinic at USC Law and as a volunteer at California Lawyers for the Arts. Laney is dedicated to serving the business side of artistic expression and fostering diverse voices in the entertainment industry. She resides in Austin, Texas and when she’s not negotiating, drafting, or problem solving, you can find her on the hiking trails with her dog, Sly, or out enjoying live music.
