CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
Do you want to break into animation production but have no idea where to start? Trying to get that first job as a PA or bridge the gap between school/training and the professional world? Do you dream of helping create new classic films or beloved TV series? Are you looking forward to seeing your name in credits one day? Then this circle is for you.
In this circle, you will learn the essentials of what it takes to get started in this part of the industry. This circle will teach you:
- the Animation Production Pipeline
- the different job positions in this career, how you move through them, and what it takes to get the job done.
- How to set yourself up to apply for and land jobs by creating strong resumes, cover letters, thank you letters, portfolios, etc.
- you’ll also gain a clear picture of how recruiting works and the job application process
- methods for showing up professionally so that recruiters and bosses take notice of you
- tools for managing the stresses and anxieties that come along with the leap into the industry
- how to network–remotely and in person
- insights into your work and leadership style
- time management, remote work, and work/life balance
- the value of leaving your comfort zone to find fantastic opportunities

Tiffany Hinojosa
Tiffany is an animation production management professional with 7 years of experience from Texas, now based in Greater Philadelphia! Currently, she works as a production coordinator at Powerhouse Animation on a new 2D-animated series.
Before working in animation, she got her start in the video game industry, where she worked as a producer for 2.5 years on various 2D and 3D game projects. Outside of her work in animation, Tiffany also freelances as a copy editor and proofreader for book publishing and tabletop games. She’s a consistent learner with too many hobbies, but most of all, she likes to read, listen to music, and play games!
