CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
First Frames is a mentorship circle designed to guide and empower aspiring animators and junior professionals as they take their first steps into the animation and VFX industry. This program is tailored to help newcomers build confidence, develop essential career skills, and create meaningful connections in the highly competitive creative field.
Through interactive workshops, discussions, and one-on-one guidance, mentees will:
- Demystify the Industry: Gain a clearer understanding of how the animation and VFX industry works, including pipelines, roles, and career paths.
- Master Networking: Learn strategies for navigating networking events, career fairs, and conferences effectively, making meaningful connections that last
- Polish Job Applications: Get hands-on guidance in crafting standout resumes, cover letters, and job applications tailored to the industry
- Optimize Reels & Portfolios: Discover what studios and recruiters look for in demo reels and online portfolios, with tips to showcase their best work
- Connect With Recruiters: Learn how to engage with recruiters and industry professionals both online (LinkedIn, social platforms) and offline (events and interviews)
