THIS CIRCLE IS PERFECT FOR
- Junior and Mid-level Compositors with a basic knowledge of compositing work
- Nuke basic knowledge is required
WHAT TO EXPECT
- How to comp efficiently for visual effects
- Better keying techniques and integration
- AOVs breakdown and how to use them correctly in compositing
- 2D elements integration and Particles
WHAT NOT TO EXPECT
- Learning Nuke from zero – basic knowledge is required
- Demo reel shots – all assets provided during the mentoring will be solely used for training purposes and not for demo reel content
CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
This circle focuses on taking your compositing skills to the next level by showing tips and tricks commonly used in the VFX industry, such as better keys, CG integration, tracking, and more.
We will be covering a little bit of everything, from 2D elements to proper use of 3D AOVS, Smart Vectors, and STMAPs, Proper keying techniques, how to fix bad edges, and how to be efficient with your comps.
This circle is intended for juniors and mid-level artists who would like to improve their skills as a compositor and work more efficiently in order to get better shots and grow as an artist. Basic Nuke knowledge is required.

Circle Leader
Marcela Silva
Marcela is an award-winning Lead/Senior Compositor with over 12 years of experience in the VFX industry. She has worked on over 45 films and tv series, having contributed to 2 studio Emmys and won a VES award for her work on Game of Thrones. Her work can be seen on films such as Guardians of Galaxy vol. 2 and 3, Kong vs Godzilla, Space Jam: A New Legacy and The Suicide Squad, as well in a variety of TV shows such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Peacemaker and multiple seasons of Game of Thrones.
She is a bubbly, colorful, and welcoming person with a huge passion for compositing, teaching, video games, bread making, and plants. She is also a very proud pet mom to a dog called Potato and a cat called Nix.
