CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
Do you aspire to secure a position as a Writers’ Assistant, Script Coordinator, or Staff Writer, or even launch your own show, series, short, or film? If you could use guidance, workshopping, and support, this circle is for you.
Throughout this mentorship, we’ll assist you in crafting compelling characters and a captivating world that leaps off the pages. With our encouragement and backing, you’ll successfully complete your script and be prepared to move forward to the next stage.
Mentees need to have a completed sample and a basic story idea and have 3-5 years of experience working at studios or production companies.

Entry Level (1-2 yrs of experience)
Early Career (3-5 yrs of experience)

Vani Bagam
Creative producer, Creator and Consultant Saraswathi Balgam (aka Vani) is developing unique original content with dancing atoms. Her goal is to bridge the gap between Asian and North American storytellers and bring Asian stories to the world.
Vani served as the Head of Creative Management for DreamWorks Animation in Shanghai and as the Executive Director of Rhythm & Hues Asia (a multiple Academy Award-winning Animation and VFX studio). For 10 years, she was the president of ASIFA India and Women in Animation India.
