CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

This group is dedicated to helping folks in tech cultivate and prepare for career opportunities, even in these uncertain times. Whether you’re considering a role change, feeling stuck, or just curious about what else might be out there, this circle provides the support and guidance you need to navigate the practical considerations of change and foster your professional growth.

Early in my career, I made some unexpected transitions that changed my career and gave me opportunities I had never thought of. I first transitioned from a QA engineer at a pharmaceutical software company to an entry-level job at Industrial Light and Magic. Then six years later, I moved from a TD role to directing animated shorts. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to navigate change, generate opportunities, and prepare practically and emotionally for new challenges. I’m excited to share my journey and insights with you.

Join us as we explore strategies for career advancement, discuss how to handle transitions, and support each other in our professional journeys. Let’s work together to unlock new possibilities and set ourselves up for long-term success in the ever-evolving field of technology.
