Are you excited to work in a variety of environments, with lots of different types of people, creating a wide range of projects? Do you feel claustrophobic when you think about working for one company for years and years? Do you want to expand opportunities for yourself to be creative and get paid? Then this circle might be right for you.Â
This circle will help you build the business of YOU. By helping you learn to think like a CEO of your own creativity, you will understand not only how to find opportunities that may be out there, but to create them as well. By the end of this circle, you’ll know more about harnessing your unique skills, taste, and goals to build a creative life where you’re making great art and getting paid for it.Â
Some of the topics we’ll cover include:
- How to take your existing skills and make new opportunities for yourself
- Presenting your work and standing up for your worth with clients
- Negotiation skills
- Understanding how to create contracts
- Work-life balance
- And more!
We will also talk about resilience skills and making sure that we’re staying connected to why we want to do this work. In this circle, you’ll learn to nurture your passion while taking practical steps toward an expansive, creative career.
