CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

This circle is for Lighters, Environment Artists, and CG Generalists interested in improving their digital lighting skills. We will review lighting and composition concepts, study references, and do exercises to boost your ability to light shots and environments. Digital Lighters often must have some technical understanding, so we will go over some technicalities of digital lighting and improve troubleshooting practices.

With a passion for creating stunning visuals and embracing new technology, I specialize in Lighting for Animation and VFX, as well as Unreal Engine for Virtual Production. I have been helping bring award-winning films and shorts to life throughout my career.

After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a major in Visual Effects, I embarked on a journey in the world of Digital Lighting. With extensive experience in both Feature Animation and VFX in pre and post production at studios such as DreamWorks Animation, DNeg, and Industrial Light and Magic. I’ve had the privilege of working on projects like Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023), The Mandalorian (season 3, 2023), Trolls World Tour (2020), How to Train your Dragon 2 (2014) and many more.
