CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

Working with and managing teams can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. There can be a lot of pressure on us to perform. So often, the most unrealistic expectations are the ones we put on ourselves. We think we must have all the answers and must be able to do everything without support. This circle will show you that there’s a better way forward!

This circle is a confidential, mutually supportive space for leaders like you, whether you’re a producer, director, supervisor, department head, entrepreneur, studio exec, or any other role where you manage creative and innovative teams.

Together we’ll identify those parts of our roles as leaders that feel difficult, frustrating, confronting, isolating, perhaps even unachievable. We’ll leverage the collective wisdom of the group while celebrating everyone’s unique experiences, perspectives, and priorities as we brainstorm solutions that feel achievable and authentic to each group member’s needs.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Support for the Supporters: Learn strategies for leading your team while finding the support you need to thrive.
  • Mastering Delegation: Shift from feeling like you need to do it all yourself to delegating effectively, empowering your team, and creating space for your own growth.
  • Tapping Into Untapped Potential: Expand beyond your known skills to discover new strengths and opportunities.
  • Creating High-Performing Environments: Build a team culture where great work gets done and everyone feels supported.
  • Preventing Overwhelm: Spot the warning signs of burnout before they happen and learn strategies to maintain balance and effectiveness for the long term.
  • Reframing Achievement: Separate your identity from your accomplishments, so you can pursue what truly moves you with more joy and less stress.
