CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
If you want to work in animation development, either as an executive or as someone bringing a project to executives, you’ll need to master the art of the pitch. You’ll need to be able to successfully pitch both your project and yourself. This circle will help you do that.
We’ll cover:
- How to organize your creative pitch so that it has the biggest impact
- Why you’ve created what you created

- The realities of the TV development process
- How to pitch in your own organization

Michele Hennessy
MICHELE HENNESSY (aka Michele Jabloner aka Michele Jabloner-Weiss)
Michele Hennessy is currently a Senior Creative Executive for Apple TV+ in the preschool division. She is working on current series as well as development that will make an impact on the youngest audience. She has a love of kids media and has built her 25-year career developing and producing kids’ content.
Previously at Amazon Kids + she helped develop and produce Hello Kitty: Super Style and a premium Blippi’s Treehouse show. Michele worked for Prime Video on Pete the Cat, The Stinky and Dirty Show, Give A Mouse a Cookie, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Do, Re & Mi show. Hennessy spent ten years at Disney Jr. as Executive Director, Original Programming. In this role, she supervised development and creative production on multiple Disney Junior series and over fifty shorts. Shows included, Doc McStuffins, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West, Puppy Dog Pals, Special Agent Oso and short series. She was also Executive Producer for Warner Brothers Animation developing, producing, and writing series based on their IP. She produced and worked as story editor on Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.
Michele began her career in animation, working on the classic 90’s cartoons Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, Rocko’s Modern Life, and Hey Arnold. She has been a writer, producer, and executive of kids’ media, but her finest role is Mom to Abigail and two pugs!
