Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your VO career to the next level, this circle will guide you through the essentials of success, including:

  • Coaching and Skill Development: Learn how to hone your craft, find your unique voice, and bring animated characters to life with authenticity and flair
  • Demo Creation: Understand what makes an effective VO demo, how to showcase your range, and how to tailor it to the animation industry
  • Building Your Online Presence: Get tips on creating a professional website that highlights your skills and makes you stand out to casting directors and studios
  • Industry Networking: Discover strategies for connecting with agents, directors, and other VO professionals to grow your opportunities and career
  • Career Sustainability: Explore what it takes to navigate the ups and downs of the VO industry, stay motivated, and keep improving your craft over time

This circle is your opportunity to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in a collaborative and encouraging space. Together, we’ll cover the bases so you can step into the VO world with clarity and purpose.

Circle Leader

Katie Leigh

Since 1981, Katie Leigh has been a part of the Los Angeles voice over community, starring in such Emmy-award-winning and fan favorites hits as “Dungeons and Dragons,”(Sheila the Thief), “Muppet Babies,” (Baby Rowlf) “Darkwing Duck,”(Honker Muddlefoot) “Richie Rich,”(Richie) “Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears,”(Sunni Gummi) “Totally Spies,” (Alex), “The Padawan Menace,” (Han Solo), “Sailor Moon Sailor Stars,” (Sailor Iron Mouse), and many more. In 1987, she took on the role of Connie Kendall in the world-wide radio show “Adventures in Odyssey,” a role she continued ever since.

She is the voice of Worldmind for Galaxarium Disneyworld!
She has an extensive background in ADR, which includes supplying the voice for the Maharaja in “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.”

Katie’s video game credits include (but are not limited to) Grim Fandango, Blade and Soul, Omnyoji, and Shadowverse.

A frequent guest on nostalgic podcasts, convention guest, and public speaker, she coaches animation voice actors through her online workshops and private sessions. Katie also manages the Friday morning animated workouts for VO Heaven.

In her spare time, she hosts the YouTube show, “Tell Ya Later” which she started with her longtime friend and colleague Will Ryan with whom she also co-authored the book Adventures in Oddity. Katie recently independently authored and released the comic book “The Itty-Bitty Book of Codependency.”
