CIRCLE DESCRIPTION
Picture this: you’ve landed your first gig in a writers’ room. Congrats! But you’re also an introvert and are worried that you’ll say the wrong thing at the wrong time. How can you fix this? That’s where Writers’ Room 101 comes in.
This circle will run like a mock writers’ room for the Emmy, Annie, and GLAAD Award winning preschool series ADA TWIST SCIENTIST. Participants will develop premises, engage in story-breaking sessions, write outlines, drafts and have group table reads. By the end of the circle, each participant will leave with their own ADA TWIST SCIENTIST sample as well as a better idea of how a writers’ room actually works.
Writers’ Room 101 is perfect for writers who, like me, are terrified of public speaking. If you’re looking for a safe space where you can get a peek behind the curtain of a writers’ room, sign up today!
