CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

Have you never taken a screenwriting class? Are you interested in learning about the screenwriting process either as an aspiring writer or as a non-writer? Let’s demystify the page and dive into an introductory class that will give you the tools to write your own work or understand screenwriting more thoroughly!

In this circle, we will cover the basics of character, setting, plot, and structure and write with those concepts in mind. Every week you’ll bring in pages for feedback and read or watch relevant media. We will be focusing on story, not technicality, but will cover basic formatting and tools like loglines.

This circle is an introduction to screenwriting and is only recommended for people who have never taken a screenwriting class or written in this medium.

Thanks for applying! ☺️
