Circle Leader
Sonali Dutta
Sonali Dutta (she/her) is a CG Artist based in Vancouver, Canada. She is currently a Senior Look Development Artist at Image Engine and previously worked at Blue Sky Studios as a Character Artist focusing on Materials and Fur.
With expertise in textures, look development, and grooming, she has contributed to feature films and series such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Nimona, The Mandalorian, Alien: Romulus, and The Book of Boba Fett. Originally from the United States, Sonali graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Visual Effects.
As a WIA mentor for 2 years, Sonali has a passion for helping artists break into the industry, and she loves seeing women and people of underrepresented gender identities achieve success and develop confidence in their careers.
