CIRCLE DESCRIPTION

This circle is designed to guide and empower emerging talents in the fields of virtual production and animation.

Through this circle, mentees will gain knowledge and creative insights, focusing on the use of cutting-edge technologies like Unreal Engine for immersive storytelling.

To participate, mentees must have Unreal Engine installed, which is free and can be downloaded through the Epic Games website. Additionally, mentees need access to a Windows-operated computer equipped with an RTX series GPU to ensure optimal performance.

A key focus of this circle is leveraging self-taught skills, as I believe that determination, curiosity, and resourcefulness are essential in navigating today’s fast-paced creative industry. By sharing my journey of becoming a Virtual Art Director through self-directed learning, I hope to inspire mentees to embrace continuous learning and explore innovative ways to merge creativity with technology.

Circle Leader

Dimitri Josephine

Dimitri Josephine is an Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor, Women in Games Global Ambassador, and Global Ambassador for the WomenTech Network. She is also the leader of the Unreal Engine Jakarta Chapter and a mentor at Women on Top Greece.

As the first Virtual Art Director in Indonesia, Dimitri pioneered the virtual production industry in the country, leading over 70 projects in film, TV, and immersive experiences. She is also the co-founder and CCO of Luz Eterna, an animation studio. She was also selected for the 100 Women Creators program in Asia with UEFN in 2023. Dimitri is also a prominent speaker and advocate for empowering women and emerging talents in the animation and tech industries.
