About the Role
We’re looking for a volunteer to add to our small but dedicated team to assist in the process of verifying IMDB credits for the WIA Talent Database. A successful WIA volunteer is self-motivated, organized, inclusive, flexible, and responsible. They’ll thrive with a sense of humor, a passion for the mission, and good judgment.

Volunteer Responsibilities
- Verify submitted Talent Database entries to ensure accurate information is provided
- Contact any submissions that have incorrect or outdated information by email
- Merge any duplicate entries with their updated information
Skills and experience
- Individual Contributor with extraordinary online resourcefulness
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Working proficiency with the Airtable or similar database programs
- Ability to understand and adapt to new programs with ease
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Great judgment and critical thinking
- Proactive problem-solver
- Full professional proficiency in English, written and verbal, is required
- Top candidates for the role will
- have demonstrated interviewing and writing experience, including writing samples
- have a professional background, education, or demonstrated interest in Animation, Visual Effects, or Gaming
- be able to effectively connect their work with WIA’s mission
